To escape from the hectic city there are several hidden hideways in the centre of Amsterdam. Amsterdam newspaper HET PAROOL revealed the secret spots. I put the names and adresses on the other blog BESCHUIT MET AARDBEIEN.

This afternoon we had a goodbye lunch for my friend Liz who will be in Buenos Aires the next month. The location was a fairly new restaurant named Dauphine, after this charming car made by Renault. It was also the first car that my father bought in the fifties. Sweet memories.
